 'Show & AG - Broken Chains ' | 12-09-2008
Another Freestyle Records exclusive and for the first time on vinyl LP format: Show & AG's previously unissued tracks for the Soul Clap EP and the Runaway Slave album are bundled on 'Broken Chains'. Including a Diamond D production, 7 unreleased instrumental productions by Showbiz from the Runaway Slave sessions and an untitled cut by D-Flow & Party Arty from 1995 produced by Showbiz. This project is a limited, one-time run of 500 copies pressed. Half of the copies (250) will be sold to Japan where nearly 200 are already spoken for. Parrish Smith and Erick Sermon again celebrate their comeback with the release of EPMD's seventh studio album 'We Mean Business' to be released December 9 via EP Records. Collaborations are handled by KRS-ONE, Redman, Keith Murray, Havoc, Wu-Tang's Raekwon along with production from Teddy Riley and 9th Wonder. The first single 'Listen Up' will follow early November.

 'Common - Universal Mind Control' | 10-30-2008
The new and eightiest Common album will be released under the title 'Universal Mind Control' December 9 through G.O.O.D. Music/Geffen. Guest features include Pharrell, Kanye West, Cee-Lo Green and Chester French, while most of the album is produced by Neptunes (+ 1 by Kanye and 3 by Mr Dj). The latest single 'Announcement' was released in July.

The follow-up to 'Feast Or Famine', Reef The Lost Cauze's brand new album 'A Vicious Cycle' is currently slated for a November 18th release on Well Done Entertainment Corporation in association with his own Fuck You Pay Me Records. We were aware of a new upcoming Show&AG album, but we must say the coming of a new DITC album, entitled ‘The Movement’ came as a bit of a surprise. Anyway, the album will be dropping November 18th and features D-Flow, Boss Money and more of the DITC affiliated artists. He’s Detroit’s next best thing, and he’s ready to drop his third solo album. Black Milk returns with 'Tronic' October 28 through Fat Beats Records. The record only features three guest emcees, Pharoahe Monch, Royce da 5’ 9’’ and Sean P and contains more live instrumentation than you’ve ever heard from this BR Gunner. Also included are Dwele, DJ Premier and Motown signee Colin Munroe, who all add a touch of their sound to the Sound Of The City, for which Black Milk is known for since 2005.
