'Stick Figures' will live up to the high expectations of the fans and critics because it's a great, original album that obides to the rules of pure hip-hop; dope sampling, excellent loops, nice scratches and sharp lyrics that keep the listener's attention throughout the whole album.

'Experience and Education' is a well picked title as Sadat takes us on a journey through life and hip-hop by telling and even teachin' us about both. While being retrospect at moments, he never looses touch with present and future, and, at the same time, he takes time to emphasize on evolutions and contradictions and to place New York on the map.

Their music is inspired by A Tribe Called Quest, productionwise, but also MC-wise as Pete Philly reminds a few times of Phife Dawg’s cool, descriptive and sharp way of rappin, combined with the perspectiveness and humour of British rapper Ty.

Except for a few songs, this album is not like any Atmosphere album and it's not like any Murs/Living Legends album. It has lots of variation, and both rappers are havin a whole lot of fun and keep their sense of relativity intact at the same time...Murs and Slug are one of those few MC collaborations that work wonderfully!

While some bass lines and kicks sound a little artificial, this album has crazy creative production and ditto scratches. The MC’s kick nice, braggadocios lyrics, but nothing more than that, it’s nice to listen to but it won’t get you excited, the production on the other hand… leave out the few technical shortcomings and you can say it’s top notch.
