The music is kinda Jay Dee (electro funk), but most of all it's a typical Moka album: feel-good vibes, down-to-earth themes straight outta everyday life combined with a twist of escapism (the travelling motive!). 'Amp that up, amp that up' Moka instructs at the beginning of the album, sure, this album must be played at high volume.

The lyrics are, in contrast to most hip-hop lyrics, non-violent, dealing with issues such as tolerance, green consciousness and psychological welfare.

Of course Oh No’s heavily influenced by the whole Oxnard sound, that is determined by Madlib and Kankick, but since the Kaliwild days he’s trying to create his own style.

Cooly is a rapper with lots of talent who made a damn fine album but he never made it to a second one, unfortunately! The vinyl copy goes with a black sleeve, the pic shown here is the CD cover.

First of all, Kazi is one hell of an emcee with a sharp tongue, spittin fast lyrics. Secondly, Oh No’s production is fantastic ànd much more convincing than on his own 'The Disrupt' album.

This album is a must-have for mid-school fans, having that typical begin-90’s sound of jazz and funk samples. However, the album is very hard to find on vinyl and even on CD , so keep your eyes open for this one.

While The Alkaholiks are rhyming about booze consumption, Mad Kap follows Cypress Hill’s footsteps; promoting weed smoking. Mad Kap’s music also has a bigger jazz touch to it with lots of horns. Almost every song is followed by an intermezzo, consisting of instrumental pieces and funny skits.

This LP is hard to find quality material, it has loads of variation and the 46 minutes pass by in no time. Rewind Selecta!

This album’s only pressed on CD, so vinyl addicts have to sin for this one, cuz it’s a pretty decent album. In fact, it’s a great album.
